In addition to the golf course, we are half a mile from the Burnsville Fire and Ambulance Station, within three miles of many fine restaurants, the Burnsville Shopping Center, and five miles to the Mall of America.  Downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul are each 20 minutes away by freeway.

History Birnamwood was designed and built by Pemtom Builders starting in 1968.  Birnamwood is a townhouse neighborhood made up of 222 homeowners who share the use of 43 acres of woodland, paths, swimming pool, tennis courts, tot lots, and an all purpose game court. Birnamwood boasts of its fine residence, well kept grounds, its seclusion and privacy, as well as its convenience to schools, churches, and shopping.  The Birnamwood public golf course is adjacent to the property.
